1&1 Internet has developed a brand new security tool called 1&1 Snapshot for use with its Dynamic Cloud Server solutions.
UK hosting provider 1&1 Internet announced on Wednesday it has developed a brand new security tool called 1&1 Snapshot for use with its Dynamic Cloud Server solutions.
The move comes the similar week as 1&1 Internet rolling out a brand new website vulnerability scanning service to customers.
1&1 Snapshot is an invaluable security precaution that allows customers to revive their 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server virtual machines from the 1&1 Internet control panel.
By offering a server restoration tool, cloud hosting companies have the option to distinguish their services by simplifying the server management process for purchasers.
Users can simply create a snapshot of a server configuration and database and return to the picture at any time to come to it sooner or later.
With the hot tool, 1&1 customers may be able to restore their cloud servers without assistance from 1&1 Internet’s customer service staff.
The tool is mainly useful for those customers who have to regularly test new software, as a snapshot of a server could be permanently saved for a limiteless term.
The new 1&1 Snapshot tool is included free of charge for all new and existing 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server customers.
Earlier this year, cloud hosting provider Tier 3 added a brand new set of server group management features including a server snapshot tool.
