Colour is an extremely powerful tool. It can convey a message across to your audience without using words. It is important that you choose the right colours to convey the right message.
When choosing what colours you want to use for your website there are a few things you should consider.
The first to consider is branding. If your company already has branding focus the colours of your website around this. Use the branding colour and then add a complementary colour.
You should also think about trends. This will make people realise you are a current website and keeping up with the trends. If the design is outdated, it will not encourage people to look at this website.
You should only use on brighter colour. This will be your pop of colour that will draw the audience’s attention to this section.
Remember to focus on your audience and the colours they will like, not always what you like.
